Baby name ideas: Telescope, Boulder, Catalardian Saddlecard
You made me lose my mind! (I forgot what I was going to say!)
At Christmas, my mom was telling Peter he had to stay out of the bedroom for a while. (She was wrapping his gifts but she hadn't told him that.) I'm not going to come in. I'm just going to be out here wondering what you're doing in there.
After being told he needed to clean his room: Can you do it for me this time, Mommy? Because I feel like maybe in a little bit I will have a tummy ache so I need to rest up now.
Can I wear a shirt that's not very churchly? (When he wanted to wear a t-shirt to church one morning instead of a button-up)
Peter had been put in timeout for antagonizing and attacking Luke, again.
Me: You're just torturing him. You gotta stop!"
P: I'll untorture him. Can I get up please?
Peter reached up and grabbed something off a tall shelf for me.
Me: Wow! You did it all by yourself. Good job Peter! I didn't know you could reach that.
P: That's because my hands are fertilized to reach up so high!
He wanted to go to the park with me but Luke was taking a nap. When I told him he couldn't leave Luke at home alone, he insisted that it would be ok because he wouldn't be alone. God will be with him and He will protect him. Ok, let's go.
Look Mommy! It's the pretty part of the day! (Sunset)
Whoever wins there last is a rotten egg!

Thank you, Mandy, for this glimpse into your growing preschoolers life. Your humor and grace warm my heart.
All these conversations... I can just HEAR them after our week together. As Peter, Luke, I were LEGO-building last week, a ‘Broominator’ and many more well-named creations by Peter were just the BEST fun!
